Embracing the belief that collaboration is paramount, we at InUnity strive to elevate innovation and creativity to new heights. The Amdocs Socio-Make-A-Thon Cohort Demo Day served as the peak of a six-month journey of innovation and collaboration. This remarkable event served as a unifying platform, bringing together industry professionals, academic institutions, and aspiring young talents who shared a common objective of tackling regional challenges through groundbreaking solutions. With active participation from 100 individuals representing three esteemed institutions in Pune, along with dedicated Amdocs employees, the two-day Hackathon witnessed intense collaboration and synergy.
The Socio-Make-A-Thon cohort aimed to bring together the industry and the youth, encouraging collaboration and innovation. Over six months, the top six teams explored problem statements in Agri-tech and Health Care, guided by experienced Amdocs mentors. This opportunity allowed them to propose innovative solutions to these challenges. Amdocs employees played a pivotal role as dedicated tech mentors, shaping the students’ remarkable ideas and helping them navigate through the complexities of the problem statements. The event also welcomed sector-specific mentors who shared their knowledge and insights, enriching the participants’ understanding of the challenges at hand.
Esteemed guests, including Dr. Sayalee Gankar (Vice Chancellor, DY Patil University) and Prof. Bharat Oswal (CII Young Indians, Yuva Chair), added value to the event with their valuable perspectives from the academic and corporate domains. The event also featured a distinguished jury panel, ensuring a thorough and impartial assessment of the participants’ innovative solutions. The mentors from Amdocs, including Alok Agarwal, Anshul Jain, CISSP, PhD, Shreeya Nagar, Soham Jayesh Patel, Shruti Bose, and Narendra Kumar, played a crucial role in shaping the students’ ideas and transforming them into practical solutions.
